What makes Pop Goes the Doodle different from other kids’ collage art?

Every piece from PGTD involves curated color palettes, themes, additional hand-painted elements, and deep focus on composition to create a unique and impactful piece of high-end art. While collage techniques are used, the final piece is a multi-media statement, ready to hang in your home.

What goes into the pricing structure?

Pricing is based on a general formula ranging from $2.00 to $2.50 per square inch. It takes into consideration size, materials, time, services to scan and copy artwork, framing, and delivery - all of which are included in the price. The goal is to have your artwork delivered and ready for you to enjoy with no additional costs after delivery.

How long does it take?

This depends on the number of pieces, size, complexity and the framer’s time. Typical turnaround from the time I receive art to the time you receive your piece is 4-6 weeks.

What sizes do you offer?

I offer sizes ranging from 16x16” to a maximum of 24x30” (unframed). Frames are included in the price and add approximately 4-6 inches to each dimension.

How many pieces of kid’s art do you need to create a piece?

There’s no hard and fast rule. Give me as much as you can, and I’ll make it work!

My kid isn’t much of an artist, can you still use their work?

Every child creates artwork that could be used in a PGTD piece. Sometimes the sillier, messier, most colorful, zaniest work is the best to incorporate!

How does payment work?

I will create a rough layout so that you can see the kids’ art pieces I’m using, general composition, and color palette that allows you to make changes and ultimately approve the art before I start gluing. Upon approval, I ask for 50% payment through check or Venmo. The balance is paid upon delivery.

What frames do you use?

I partner with Framebridge, who offer a wide selection of mat and framing options. I can recommend and mock up different looks so you will know exactly what it will look like when it’s delivered.
